According to the study by National Skill Development Corporation or NSDC, there are around 21 sectors that need to understand the concept of skill requirement. Skill gaps across different sectors have become the major concern for the overall development of the country at a global level.
Sector specific training would assist candidates in enhancing their skills to meet the respective job requirements. To achieve this objective, the need of National Vocational Qualification Framework has emerged to strengthen the skill framework in India.
National Skill Development Policy aims to improve employability and socio & economic development along with the living standards.
